How To Open Calendar


Click on tray icon
Or Right-Click, then select "Calendar" from pop-up menu

How To Create A New Note

Press on button
Or Double-Click on blank area in month/week calendar.
Or Right-Click, then select "New Note" from pop-up menu.
Or Double-Click on tray icon when calendar is closed

How To Create A Duplicate Note

Select the non-history note you want to duplicate (selected note will be highlighted in list view and underlined in month/week calendar), then Press button.
Or Right-Click on selected note, then select "Clone" from pop-up menu

How To Delete A Note

Select the note you want to delete (selected note will be highlighted in list view and underlined in month/week calendar), then Press button.
Or Right-Click on selected note, then select "Delete" from pop-up menu

How To Update A Note

Select the note you want to edit (selected note will be highlighted in list view and underlined in month/week calendar), then Press button

How To Post A Note On Desktop

Drag selected note and drop on anywhere you want

Tip: Double-Click on the title of a posted note to shrink/restore the note

How To Make A Post Note Always On Top

If the top-left icon of a post note is , it's always on top of other windows. Click on it to switch between top-most and not top-most state.

How To Update Posted Note

You can directly edit the content of a post note. To edit title text, Right-Click title area
To use other functions, Right-Click icon or . From the pop up menu select the function you want to use.

Note Type

EzCalendar supports four kinds of note:
1. Recursive Note: event happens every 1-365 minute/hour/day/week/month/year. The active  icon is . The history icon is
2. One time Note: event happens only once. The active icon is . The history icon is
3. Memo: event won't go off, just for a memo on calendar. It could be recursive or one time only .
4. History: If you select "Save History" option, a history note will be generated each time a reminder goes off. You can let EzCalendar delete history notes after a period of time. see Options for detail.

Create/Edit Memo


Only step 7 and 9 are necessary to create an empty memo
1. Optional: Input/Change title text (1)
2. Optional: Select category (2). By default it's "No Category"
3. Optional: Select start date (3) and time (4)
4. Optional: check "End" (5) and select end date (6)
5. Optional: If you want the note repeat, check "Repeat"(7), then
    a. Input a number (8, you can also use spinner by the input box)
    b. Select cycle unit (9), it could be minute, hour, day, week, month, year
6. Optional: If you want the note repeat based on week day (for monthly/yearly note only):
    a. Check "Week" (A)
    b. Select 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/last from drop down (B)
    c. Select Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday from drop down (C)
    d. For yearly note only: select month from drop down (D)
7. Uncheck "Remind me". By default, it's checked
8. Optional: Input/Change event text (I)
9. Press "Ok" button

Create/Edit One Time Note

Only step 8 is necessary to create an empty one time note with default alarm time
1. Optional: Input/Change title text (1)
2. Optional: Select category (2)
3. Optional: Select start date (3) and time (4)
4. Optional: Uncheck "Repeat"(7)
5. Optional: Check "Remind me" (E)
6. Optional: input a prior number (F,G,H)
7. Optional: Input/Change text (I)
8. Press "Ok" button

Create/Edit Recursive Note

Only step 5, 10 are necessary to create an empty recursive note with default alarm time and 1 month cycle
1. Optional: Input/Change title text (1)
2. Optional: Select category (2)
3. Optional: Select start date (3) and time (4)
4. Optional: check "End" (5) and select end date (6)
5. Check "Repeat"(7), then
    a. Input a number (8, you can also use spinner by the input box)
    b. Select cycle unit (9), it could be minute, hour, day, week, month, year
6. Optional: If you want the note repeat based on day of week (for monthly/yearly note only):
    a. Check "Week" (A)

How To Scroll Multiple Events On A Date

If your mouse has a wheel between two buttons, rolling it will scroll events up/down
Other wise, move mouse to the lower edge of the date, the shape of cursor will change to down-arrow, Left-Click to scroll down.

Move mouse to upper edge of event list, the shape of cursor will turn into up-arrow, Left-Click to scroll up.

If no arrow appears, it means all events can be fully displayed, no scroll is necessary.
